Arts Mentors for Recently Released Prisoners

We need experienced and enthusiastic practitioners from all arts fields to volunteer as Mentors.

Every year the Koestler Awards identify prisoners with exceptional creative talent. Supported by The Paul Hamlyn Foundation, we have launched a major 3-year pilot to support 50 of our award winners to continue their arts activity after release.

Mentors work one-to-one with ex-offenders, offering 10 mentoring sessions over 12-months. We give our mentors full training and support, but it is our mentor's energy, arts expertise and organisational skills that are helping us find out if the arts make a real difference in the rehabilitation of offenders. Find out more.
